Chetek Woman Arrested For 5th OWI Offense In Barron County

BARRON COUNTY — A routine traffic stop in Barron County led to the arrest of a Chetek woman for her fifth OWI offense, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol. The incident occurred on March 27, 2025, at approximately 11:39a, when a trooper stopped a southbound vehicle on US 53 near milepost 141 for an equipment violation. The driver, identified as 36-year-old Jellisa Ann Reynolds, was taken into custody on multiple charges, including operating while revoked and drug possession.

Jellisa Ann Reynolds, 36 years of age, from Chetek, WI, has been arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol Spooner Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 5th offense.

On March 27, 2025, at approximately 11:39a, a Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper conducted a traffic stop on US 53 southbound at milepost 141 for an equipment violation. A subsequent investigation was conducted on the driver of the vehicle.

The driver was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of a control substance 5th offense.

The driver was also charged with operating a motor vehicle while revoked 3rd offense, possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia. The driver was transported to a local hospital for and evidentiary blood draw and then to the Barron County Jail.

Pursuant to the direction of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, as found in Supreme Court Rule 20:3.6, Trial Publicly, you are advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
