WASHBURN COUNTY (DrydenWire) - A call for assistance at a Spooner area restaurant for an unresponsive male, identified as Richard Charneski, Jr., age 29, of Alma Center, WI, has led to felony charges for him. Charneski was taken for medical care at Spooner Health Hospital, and it was discovered that he had a loaded firearm on his person.
At the hospital, Charneski allegedly threatened harm to a medical worker and to officers. Charneski allegedly had cocaine and alcohol in his system. The Court has subsequently ordered Charneski to surrender his firearms to law enforcement.
