Behavioral Health Therapist Paul Workman Joins NorthLakes Community Clinic - Minong

MINONG, WI -- Paul Workman, LPC has joined the staff at NorthLakes Community Clinic - Minong, and is now providing Behavioral Health Services in the clinic as well at the Northwoods School District and Hayward Intermediate and Middle schools. Paul sees patients ages six and older and has particular interest in working with LGBTQIA+ populations, and issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, and social justice.

When asked about his work Paul replied, “Coming into counseling for the first time can be very hard. My role in this space is to collaborate with you and work for you to help you identify the changes you would like in your life and develop a plan to make them possible. It's okay if you don't have a solid idea of what that means-- coming here is the first step toward figuring it out.”

Paul received his MSE in clinical counseling from the University of Wisconsin - Superior. Prior to joining NorthLakes, Paul provided care at the Lac Courte Oreilles Community Health Center.

Paul enjoys playing video games, learning new things and spending time with this family when he is not working with patients.
