BARRON COUNTY — A 26-year-old Barron man has been arrested on multiple counts of possession of child pornography following a months-long investigation, according to a press release from the Barron County Sheriff’s Office.

On Tuesday, August 12, 2025, the Barron County Sheriff’s Department arrested 26-year-old Carl Mueller of Barron for multiple counts of possession of child pornography.
The arrest is the result of a several month long investigation conducted by the Barron County Sheriff’s Department and the Wisconsin Department of Justice.
Mr. Mueller is currently in the Barron County Jail awaiting formal charges by the Barron County District Attorney’s Office.
