BARRON COUNTY — The Barron County Sheriff's Department executed a search warrant in Sioux Creek Township, culminating a lengthy investigation into child pornography, according to a press release from Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald.

On Thursday, June 6, 2024, the Barron County Sheriff's Department executed a search warrant at 462 24th St. in Sioux Creek Township. The search warrant comes after a several month long investigation into child pornography.
A cell phone inside the residence was located and found to belong to Tony Warner, 51 of Chetek. With the assistance of DCI Digital Forensic Analyst, the cell phone was found to contain files containing child pornography.
Tony Warner is currently being held at the Barron County Jail on 10 counts of possession of child pornography awaiting formal charges from the Barron County District Attorney's Office.
It can be noted, as within many of these cases, additional files of child pornography were located on the device.
