Barron County Public Health Offering Free J&J COVID-19 Vaccine To Anyone Ages 18+

Barron County Public Health is offering free Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine to anyone ages 18 or older.

Walk-ins are welcome on Fridays from 8:30am to11:00am and 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Other times can be made by appointment. Public Health is located on the third floor of the Government Center in Barron. The address is 335 East LaSalle Avenue, Barron, WI 54812. If you would like to register ahead or if you need to make another appointment time please call, 715-537-5691, extension 6442.

Free Pfizer vaccines are also available for those ages 12 and up at the Community Vaccine Clinic. The clinic is located in the gym at UWEC-Barron County (1800 College Drive, Rice Lake, WI). Walk-ins are welcome Tuesdays-Saturdays from 11:00am to 7:00pm. A parent must be present for anyone ages 12-17. Anyone who lives, works, or studies in Wisconsin is able to be get their shot for free at the Community Vaccine Clinic.

Transportation may be available to Public Health or the Community Vaccine Clinic. Call 715-537-6333 to learn more.

Barron County Public Health would like to ask everyone to help us encourage our community members to get vaccinated. It is estimated that at least 7 out of every 10 people will need to be vaccinated in order to end this pandemic and get back to the things we love. Talking to your friends and family and encouraging them to get their shot will help this happen.
