BURNETT COUNTY -- Authorities from Burnett County say that a man was discovered laying in the road in Burnett County and are asking that anyone with information about this incident should call the Sheriff's Office, according to a press released issued a short time ago.
(Press Release) -- Investigation continues into an incident that occurred early this morning in which an injured male subject was discovered laying in the roadway on County Road H south of County Road B in the Town of Dewey.
The injured subject was transported from the scene to a hospital by EMS; there is no update on his condition as of the time of this message.
The Wisconsin State Patrol is assisting the Burnett County Sheriff’s Office in its investigation, and no other details are being released at this time.
Anyone who was travelling in this area between 05:15 and 06:15 this morning that may have information regarding this incident is asked to call the Burnett County Sheriff’s Office at 715-349-2121.
