Higgins allegedly yelled “I’m gonna kill you!”, before accelerating the UTV in the direction of the patron that he had argued with, striking the individual with the UTV, and driving it over them.

The criminal complaint goes on to state that Higgins then backed the UTV up and spun it around in a “donut” striking two other vehicles in the parking lot, shouted “I’m gonna kill you!”, and drove the UTV over the individual a second time.

The victim of the incident sustained multiple fractured ribs, contusions, and significant bruising. Damages of over $5,000 were sustained by the two vehicles that Higgins allegedly struck with the UTV.

Charges of Class B Felony Attempt First Degree Intentional Homicide; Class G Felony Second Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, and two charges of Class I Felony Criminal Damage to Property have been filed against Higgins.

Online circuit court records show that at a hearing on February 24, 2021, the Court placed Higgins on a $2,500 cash bond which was posted a few days later. Higgins is scheduled to appear again in April 2021.
