BARRON COUNTY — A 44-year-old Downing woman died after her vehicle rolled over on 2 ¾ Ave near Prairie Farm Sunday morning, according to a press release from the Barron County Sheriff’s Office.

On Sunday, December 22, 2024, at 7:37 a.m., the Barron County Sheriff’s Department 911 Center received a call of a one-vehicle rollover on 2 ¾ Ave west of Prairie Farm.
Deputies from the Barron County Sheriff’s Department along with Prairie Farm Fire and EMS, Mayo Ambulance, and Life Link Helicopter all responded to the scene.
Initial investigation shows that the vehicle was traveling west on 2 ¾ Ave when it went off the road and rolled. A lone female occupant was located outside the vehicle.
The driver was a 44-year-old female from Downing and was flown to Regions in MN where she was pronounced deceased.
The crash remains under invitation by the Barron County Sheriff’s Department.
