American Legion - Post 269 (Cushing, WI): The American Legion is the nation’s largest wartime veterans service organization aimed at advocating patriotism across the U.S. through diverse programs and member benefits.

Hometown Hero Outdoors: is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to facilitating outdoor adventures for actively serving military, military veterans, and licensed law enforcement officers. These adventures include hunting, fishing, backpacking, foraging, camping, snowmobiling, and so much more. Our primary goal is to assist these individuals as they begin healing and building healthy relationships within the community by:

  • Encouraging them to get up and get moving,
  • Connecting them with likeminded individuals,
  • Allowing them to explore and be adventurous in a safe setting,
  • Reminding them that they are appreciated and cared for.
