WASHBURN COUNTY -- Most Santa Claus photos feature Santa with little kids, but the Washburn County Area Humane Society's (WCAHS) Tree of Lights event is going to offer photos of your favorite furry friend with Santa! This will be the 27th year this well-loved event will be held.
For a donation of your choice, we light a light on the tree and your pet's name is printed on a paper ornament. What a great way to honor or celebrate your special pet.
Free treats and beverages, raffle items, and prizes are all part of this event being held on Sunday, December 5th from 1 pm - 4 pm at the WCAHS facility. Donations from this event will help WCAHS continue to offer a warm, safe, healthy, loving home to Washburn County animals until they are adopted into their new forever families.
Entry forms will be available at the WCAHS facility - 1300 Roundhouse Road in Spooner, or go to www.wcahs.com and download a form to bring with you to the event.
