BARRON COUNTY -- During the 4p news conference today, Wednesday, October 24, 2018, it was announced that there is a $25,000 for information that directly relates to locating missing & endangered teenager, Jayme Closs.
Sheriff Fitzgerald said that they have received over 1,550 tips and have closed 1,250 of them.
Fitzgerald also asked that anyone that was driving on HWY 8 during the 12:30a to 1:30a during the morning of Monday, October 15th, to call the tip line at 855-744-3879. The Sheriff also stated that if anyone sees Jayme to call 911 immediately.
Yesterday, 2,000 volunteers assisted law enforcement in an expanded routine search for articles of evidentiary value that may be related to the disappearance of 13-year-old Jayme Closs - who remains missing & endangered - however Fitzgerald stated that nothing of "evidentiary value" was discovered.
Jayme’s Aunt also spoke during the news conference and said that “We will never stop looking for you."
