2019 Orchestra Workshop Hosted At Shell Lake Arts Center

SHELL LAKE, Wis. — Shell Lake Arts Center proudly hosted the Eileen Cohen Middle Level String Orchestra Workshop on Thursday, October 10th. Students spent the day in sectional and large group rehearsal with conductor Gary Wolfman.  Mr. Wolfman is the conductor for the Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphonies' Philharmonic.  After a day of practice on their selected pieces, the students performed in a concert that afternoon showcasing all their hard work.

Also, make plans to join the Center for the Middle School Honors Band concert on Thursday, November 7th at 6:00 PM.  Over 220 talented students from 32 different schools will attend this year.  The free concert will be a culmination of all their hard work that day.
